Honoring History of Country & Family
When we think of Presidents Day, we honor the leaders who shaped this nation. But behind every great leader are those who worked in the shadows to help secure our freedom. One of them? Nathaniel Sackett. In 1777, George Washington personally appointed Nathaniel Sackett—our ancestor—as a spymaster for the Revolutionary War. His job was to gather intelligence on the British. And was part of a spy network called the Culper Ring.
