Description
The ROAM Vagabond is a durable foldout rooftop tent that sleeps 2-3 people on top of a high-density foam mattress. This all-weather tent can be easily installed on a variety of roof racks and takes minutes to pitch, wherever you find yourself at the end of the day. The tent is made of rugged polycotton ripstop fabric with a robust diamond weaved nylon rainfly. Enter your new home away from home via a secure yet lightweight telescoping aluminum ladder. The 2 skylights and surrounding windows can be unzipped for maximum views of the night sky and morning sunrise.

Weather-Tight Tent for any Condition
Having a weather-resistant tent lets you rest easy knowing the elements will stay outside. That is why ROAM used a 280g PU coated poly cotton ripstop tent body. What does that mean? It means when you are in a weather situation you are gonna be good. Want some extra tent insulation? We got that too!
The Front Porch
All standard size and XL size Vagabond RTTs feature a front porch overhang. This area provides cover for you while coming in and out of the tent from rain, and also allows for additional square footage to the optional annex room. Also featured is the included front Porch Window, which gives you an additional view of the outdoors from this side of the tent. This is something most other RTTs on the market lack.
Optional Annex Room
The Standard size and XL size Vagabond tents come either with or without an add on annex room. This annex room attaches to your Vagabond Roof Top Tent providing an additional fully enclosed room to your RTT. Come down from the upstairs tent, and find yourself in a large space that can be used as a stand up changing room, or space for additional gear, or friends and family to sleep in. The annex room is fully inclosed, with a heavy duty and removable PVC floor, that provides protection from tears and rain.
Diamond Plate Insulated Bed Base
Every home has a sure foundation, so why wouldn't your tent? Even if you need to use it as a scouting platform, she will hold strong and it will help insulate your tent through the night. Every ROAM Vagabond tent also comes with an included gear hammock for storing gear outside of your home away from home.
Dual Rainfly Skylights
The two clear skylight windows makes it possible to get light from above into your tent even if it is raining. It also makes for great star gazing at night.
The MOST Comfortable Mattress in a RTT
Camping doesn’t have to be roughing it. Sleep on a mattress that is comparable to your bed at home. A 3 inch high-density foam mattress, that has a weather-resistant bottom fabric, makes your nights sleeping in the woods feel like a 5-star hotel.
Boot Bags
Included with your Vagabond purchase is a pair of boot bags that attach to the base of the tent so you don't have to bring your dirty shoes inside.
Rubberized Silent Zippers
The last thing you want is trying to sleep with the sound of endless wind chimes throughout the night. This is why ROAM uses rubber for all of their zipper pullers.
1" Alluminum Frame
Having a burly frame keeps the tent body tight and wind noise to a minimum at night. In the case that it snows over night, it also insures that your tent won't collapse on itself.
Anti-Condensation Mat
Included with every ROAM tent, having an anti-condensation layer between your mattress and the base of your tent prevents mold and mildew build up.
3 Layer Windows / Doors
The windows on each side of every ROAM tent do a lot more than just provide you an amazing view of the great outdoors. Each window also has 3 layers to provide the upmost versatility for any adventure. The exterior layer provides a water proof closing, as well as being able to be propped up as a window awning. The middle layer is a tight weaved masquito window, allowing the maximum air flow while still keeping the tiniest of critters out. The interior layer provides another weatherproof layer that can be easily closed up from inside the tent in the middle of the night for privacy, or if an unexpecting storm rolls through. Each layer is able to be open and closed with ROAM's high quality zippers.
Interior Storage
Each ROAM Vagabond tent includes multiple internal storage pockets for you to keep your phone, keys, flashlight, etc. within reach. There are also clips for you to attach the aformentioned gear hammock inside the tent to store a jacket / clothes, etc, up and out of the way.
Proprietary Black Telescoping Ladder
Every ROAM Vagabond RTT is now equipped with a proprietary black telescoping ladder that makes deploying and putting away your Vagabond tent easy, even by yourself.

Innovative Road Cover
