Q: Can I use alcohol to clean the blades?
A: Yes, you can safely clean the blades with standard rubbing alcohol.

Q: Can I store my shears outside for extended periods of time?
A: Garden tools are not meant to be stored outside for long periods of time. Extended exposure to wet conditions may cause rust and unnecessary wear and tear. We recommend storing your garden tools indoors after use to help them last as long as possible and to avoid the need to purchase a replacement.

Warranty

Barebones’ products purchased directly from Barebones or an authorized Barebones distributor are covered by either a 2-year limited warranty or a limited lifetime warranty. Warranty information is located under “Warranty” on each product page. Third-party products (those not produced by Barebones) are not covered by the warranties listed below. For third-party product warranty information, please reach out to the respective party.

2-Year Limited Warranty

Warranty covers defects in material and workmanship under normal use, proper care, and maintenance of the product. Barebones will provide a replacement or item of equivalent value for any part or product found to be defective.

This warranty shall be void if the product is not used, assembled, or operated in accordance with the operation instructions provided; the product is resold or traded to another owner; components or accessories not compatible with the product have been used, or the user has abused or otherwise failed to maintain the product.

Warranty is void two years after purchase date.

Limited Lifetime Warranty

Warranty covers defects in material and workmanship under normal use, proper care and maintenance of the product. Barebones will provide a replacement or item of equivalent value for any part or product found to be defective.

This warranty shall be void if the product is not used, assembled, or operated in accordance with the operation instructions provided; the product is resold or traded to another owner; components or accessories not compatible with the product have been used, or the user has abused or otherwise failed to maintain the product.

Barebones may require proof of purchase to process a warranty claim.
